Mark Hammontree is a law clerk at Warner Bates and a recent graduate of Georgia State University College of Law. Upon admittance to the State Bar, Mark will transition to an associate attorney position with the firm and continue serving clients in all areas of divorce and family law.
In law school, Mark served as the Vice President of the GSU Family Law Society and was a two-year student pupil in the Charles Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court.
Mark was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Mark moved to the Atlanta area after graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in English and Secondary Education. Prior to law school, Mark taught high school English Language Arts for four years in Henry County, Georgia.
Mark is married to his high school sweetheart, and he and his wife spend much of their free time watching movies, eating ice cream, and going on walks with their dog, Montana. Mark is an avid sports fan and particularly loves cheering on the Braves and his Alabama Crimson Tide.
