Warner Bates to Host Fifth Annual Event for Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation

Warner Bates will again host a gathering in support of the Guardian ad Litem Program of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. Now in its fourth year, the event will be held at the family law firm’s offices in the Riverwood 100 Building on Thursday, August 18, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

“Our firm is honored to host one of AVLF’s signature fundraising events for the fifth year in a row,” said Jim McGinnis, a partner at Warner Bates and Treasurer of the AVLF Board of Directors. “The services offered by AVLF and its Guardian ad Litem program are necessary for the continued well-being of youth in need across Atlanta.”

AVLF has operated the Guardian ad Litem program in the Fulton County Family Division since 1990. The program provides training for private attorney volunteers to represent Fulton County children from low income households who are the subject of contested custody actions.
