Kynna Garner is a partner with Warner Bates and has been practicing law exclusively in the area of domestic relations since 2005. She is well experienced as a litigator and enjoys trying cases, but also is gratified by the opportunity to help clients achieve non-litigated resolutions through mediation and alternative dispute resolution. Kynna has represented clients from all walks of life in divorce, child custody, child support and adoption matters from the highly complex to the uncontested. She has experience litigating cases in Cobb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Forsyth and DeKalb Superior Courts and has also handled matters outside the metro Atlanta area.
Kynna is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and the Cobb County Bar Association. She has been named one of Georgia Trend magazine’s Legal Elite and a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star. She also serves as a volunteer lawyer with the Cobb Justice Foundation and is a contributing author of the Georgia Domestic Relations Case Finder.
Kynna is a graduate of Georgia State University College of Law where she was a member of the competitive mock trial team and earned honors in litigation, family law and real estate law coursework. After law school, she had her own practice and spent a significant amount of time in the courtroom as a very young lawyer, giving her an invaluable “trial by fire” education in the practice of law.
Originally from Southern California, Kynna (pronounced “Kenna”) moved to Georgia as a teenager. She and her husband now reside in Marietta with their three sons. When she is not practicing law, Kynna enjoys cooking, reading non-fiction and watching football.
